Reaching the Goal of One Million Words!
Arrupe students set the ambitious goal of reading a million words or more during the 2009-10 school year.
The reasearch is clear. More reading translates to better readers. There is a significant correlation between the amount of time children spend reading and improved measurements of comprehension, vocabulary, and reading speed.
Congratulations to the following students who met or exceeded that goal!
