Justin has completed his run for
Arrupe Jesuit High School!
Justin Jelinek, successfully completed his most recent ‘Run for a Reason’ as he crossed the end of the Goldhill Trailhead, located in Breckenridge, CO. His mission to train and fundraise was well supported, raising $3,130 for Arrupe Jesuit High School. “I was fortunate enough to attend Regis Jesuit High School, and really appreciate all the values that a Jesuit education has given me. I researched Arrupe, who provides a Jesuit, college-preparatory education to economically disadvantaged students, and immediately knew that I wanted this school to be the recipient of Running for a Reason’s first event.”
Running for a Reason, Justin’s newly founded charity, was born out of a long-time passion for the sport. “I have always enjoyed running, and was ready to do another long, endurance run but didn’t want to pay yet another entrance fee to run a marathon for a t-shirt. To me it is so important to use the skills you have to help those in need. I have always really enjoyed challenging myself by running long distances, so I that this was a perfect way to start a new charity, Running for a Reason.”
