Arrupe Partners Program
New Opportunities for At-Risk Students
Arrupe Jesuit High School and its sister schools across the country are bringing the Jesuit tradition of educational excellence to a broader group of students than ever before. Our student body is predominantly low-income and minority, with nearly three-quarters living at or near the poverty line. The vast majority of Arrupe students will be the first in their families to attend college.
The Arrupe Partners Program enables us to keep the opportunity of a college preparatory education affordable for the neediest families in our community.
Arrupe students earn the majority of the cost of their education by working at an entry-level job five days per month, and parents contribute additional tuition according to their means. Arrupe Partners bridge the small gap between family support and the full cost of educating a single Arrupe student by contributing $125 per month, $1,500 per year.
One Student for One Year
Arrupe Partners understand the impact of a rigorous, values-centered education. Their goal is to extend this privilege to economically disadvantaged youth who, given a chance, will meet and exceed society’s expectations.
Partners are individuals or groups who commit to supporting the education of an Arrupe student for one year. Their $1,500 investment provides the resources to prepare students for success in college and beyond. Partners receive updates from the President, letters from students, and invitations to special events.
